Our ‘Deluxe’ transformerless circuit is finally available in a small-diaphragm condenser microphone, driving a precisely hand-skinned 22mm transducer (matched in pairs).

The MP1 features an exceptional signal-to-noise ratio and high headroom, providing clear, undistorted output for any audio application (yes, you can even close mike a snare).

Perfectly suited for both studio and live applications, the MP1 delivers a natural, transparent sound with a smooth and pleasant frequency response. Its cardioid polar pattern ensures outstanding directivity, capturing the desired sound source while minimizing unwanted ambient noise.

The combination of a carefully tuned capsule and the acoustic impact of the body vents have been carefully engineered to deliver a perfect cardioid polar pattern and a flat frequency response, without the harsh high-frequency content typical of modern small-diaphragm condensers.

The MP1 excels in applications like acoustic instruments, drum overheads, and orchestral recordings. Its advanced capsule technology offers a balanced yet rich tonal quality, while its high sensitivity and low self-noise make it ideal for delicate performances and subtle nuances. The microphone’s rugged, full brass body is built to withstand the rigors of professional use, yet it remains lightweight for easy handling and placement in tight spaces.
